Beyond the stars, my journey has also been enriched by 15 years as a yogi and experienced yoga teacher. This path has cultivated a strong understanding of the mind-body-spirit connection, leading me to practice and teach AstroYoga – a synthesis of these two sister sciences. My background also includes an MFA in Dance from the University of Oregon where I focused largely on somatic studies and the therapeutic applications of the art of dance, and I chuckle when I think of how my passion for dance has evolved beyond the physical body to the celestial bodies, but the core elements of my interest and passion are the same in both lenses; to move is to live, and to be in tune with movement – both within the body and the universe – is one of the greatest joys of my life. I have also invested in years of personal exploration into world religion and psychology, continually fueling my lifelong study of what it means to be human.
